The final Mitsubishi Eclipse sports coupe will be auctioned off to one lucky charity.

Mitsubishi is auctioning the car at the 2011's St. Charles Auction, built by Mitsubishi North America as a special edition Coupe. The SE comes with a 3.8-liter V6. Production of the coupe began in 1989. For 22 years, the vehicle was one of the best selling Japanese import sports cars in North America.

The CX-5 crossover, placed between MAZDA3  and MAZDA CX-7, won't even become production ready until 2013 when it drops into Lujack Kia Mazda Mitsubishi. That hasn't stopped the Japanese auto maker from teasing the car online. Images and specs have been popping up all over the web.
